Instructions
  1. Mix the broth, soy sauce, sesame oil, garlic, onion powder and brown sugar in the slow cooker until the brown sugar is dissolved.
  2. Leave frozen broccoli on the counter to defrost.
  3. Add meat to the slow cooker and cook on high for 4ish hours or low 6-8 hours.
  4. About 1/2 hour to an hour before you're gonna chow down add the corn starch to thicken it up and dump the broccoli on top.
  5. Right before you're gonna eat make the rice in the microwave, 90 seconds or whatevs the package says.
  6. Serve the beef and broc over the rice and spoon a bunch of the delish sauce over the top. Sprinkle on some sesame seeds if you wanna kick the presentation up a notch and go fancy style.
Recipe Notes

The stew meat is what makes this so quick and easy to make.  You can use a better cut of meat if you want but then you'll have to slice it up which I think just makes it more of a pain with extra steps, time and clean up but if you want to go that route have at it.

You can use either sesame or toasted sesame oil for this.  Whichevs is easiest to find or skip it entirely if you don't have any laying around.

Take it ease w/ the corn starch.  You're gonna be all, it didn't thicken up and then like 15-20 minutes later it will so if you keep adding more from the jump you're gonna end up w/ sludgy ass beef & broc.
