Instructions
  1. Pull the frozen White Castle burgers out of the freezer and let them defrost on the counter for a while.
  2. Preheat oven to 350 - Normally you're making this w/ a bird so obvs if you've got a bird in the oven don't sweat the preheat just stick it in the oven about an hour before the bird will be done.
  3. Chop up the celery and saute it a bit with the pat of butter. Just a couple minutes to soften the celery up a bit.
  4. Dice up the defrosted White Castle burgers into small cubes. You can also throw them into a food processor, whichevs you want. Personally I go to town on them w/ a large knife on a large cutting board.
  5. Mix the White Castle burgers, celery, poultry seasoning and chicken broth into a large bowl until well mixed and everything is nice and moist.
  6. Cram the stuffing mix into a small casserole dish or oven safe loaf pan and slide into the oven for an hour or so.
  7. Serve it up with your bird, sides, gravy, whatevs you want.
Recipe Notes

This is a pretty good stuffing but mostly people love it for the novelty. It's surprisingly good and it's really easy and quick to slap together.

If you're really feeling froggy you can go ahead and toss a couple ounces of chestnuts into a food processor, smash to oblivion and mix it in as well. I use that to kick it up a bit for the holidays.

If you try to do this when the burgers are still frozen they won't absorb the chicken broth well and it doesn't turn out great.

I'm not one to stuff a bird but feel free to jam it up your birds ass if that's how you wanna cook it.
